The event is coordinated by Diversity Awareness and only successful through the volunteering of students and culture clubs. This year six groups were represented: Jamaica, Black Student Union, Latino/Hispanic Culture, China, Kyrgyzstan and the U.S.A.

Housing Hype Night revised to reflect student feedback

Housing Hype Night is a student-centered event for residential students to select their housing assignment for the following year. Before attending the event on April 10, students were required to fill out the Fall 2024 Housing Application, be enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year, pay their housing deposit and have a roommate group of two or four.

Campus Safety hosts RAD training for women

Campus Safety hosted a free four-part Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) training series forwomen. RAD is a program focused on instilling life saving knowledge to reduce risk and harm of rape or abduction. The course consisted of three full lectures followed by a hands-on portion to put skills into practice.
